    • North-Eastern states

    • Himalayan and Island territories

    • Aspirational districts identified by NITI Aayog

    • Women entrepreneurs, SC/ST, and persons with disabilities (Divyang)

  • Medicines only sourced from WHO-GMP certified suppliers.

  • Each batch tested in NABL-accredited labs.

Janaushadhi Suvidha: A Big Step for Women's Health

One of the most remarkable extensions of the PMBJP is the Janaushadhi Suvidha sanitary napkins initiative. Launched in August 2019, these oxo-biodegradable napkins are sold at just Re. 1 per pad and are now available in all 10,000+ Kendras. As of November 2023, 47.87 crore napkins have been sold—ensuring menstrual hygiene remains affordable and accessible.

  • Individuals with a D. Pharma/B. Pharma degree or those employing such professionals.

  • NGOs, Charitable institutions, and Hospitals, provided they meet staffing and infrastructure criteria.

  • Government Hospitals and Medical Colleges—with preference for reputed NGOs or charitable groups.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide

Online Process:

  1. Visit:https://janaushadhi.gov.in/apply-for-kendra

  2. Click on ‘Apply for Kendra’

  3. Register with your Name ,mobile number and email ID

  4. Log in with the credentials sent to your email

  5. Pay the ₹5,000 processing fee

  6. Upload required documents (e.g., PAN, Aadhaar, pharmacist license, etc.)

  7. Submit the application and track its status online.

Offline applications are also accepted.
